The ATPI Group has announced that the company has merged with Direct Travel to form Direct ATPI Global Travel.
The new brand says its focus is on value and providing flexible corporate travel solutions to mid-market companies with a presence in North America and elsewhere. Both companies are equally invested in the new venture, according to ATPI.
ATPI will continue to operate as such in its various locations around the world and will also continue to run its specialised Sports Events and Energy and Shipping divisions separately. Meanwhile, Direct Travel will continue to operate under its existing brand in the US, and Vision Travel – which joined with Direct Travel earlier this year – will similarly continue in Canada.
Andrew Waller (pictured), CEO of the ATPI Group, says: “The opportunities that this new organisation creates for our mutual clients are very exciting.”
Ed Adams, CEO of Direct Travel, comments: “We are committed to delivering high-end flexible solutions to mid-market clients and believe this new organisation accelerates our global growth strategy and underscores our commitment to deliver innovative and differentiated services to clients in our respective markets.”
