Sustainability specialists Clarasight and Thrust Carbon have announced a new partnership, which is designed to “align the strengths” of both companies’ platforms.
US-based Clarasight is known for its carbon planning and forecasting capabilities, while the UK’s Thrust Carbon offers a carbon emissions methodology and compliance suite, which has received official ISO 14083 accreditation for reporting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Both feature as part of BTN Europe’s Green List of corporate travel sustainability platforms.
As part of the new deal, Clarasight’s platform will integrate Thrust Carbon’s emissions calculation process, alongside its Thrust Engage employee engagement system, which has been created to drive changes in behaviour among an organisation’s staff.
Meanwhile, Thrust Carbon customers will gain access to Clarasight’s advanced planning capabilities to “build business-driven forecasts and model detailed policies, initiatives and targets”. These insights can then be used to influence employee behaviour through Thrust Engage.
The companies stressed that they would both “continue to deliver their own suite enabling emissions reporting, analytics and carbon budget management”.
“By providing integrations between each of their most advanced capabilities though, Clarasight and Thrust Carbon are now enabling a customised set of solutions to resolve the strategic and operational goals of every modern enterprise,” they added in a statement.
Kit Aspen, co-founder and CEO of Thrust Carbon, explained: "This partnership is an ideal collaboration that provides travel and sustainability leaders with best-in-class technology to future-proof their business travel programmes.
“We are excited to align the strengths of both platforms to create a unified experience that benefits customers most.”
Adam Braun, co-founder and CEO of Clarasight, added: "By combining our powerful scenario modelling and planning capabilities with Thrust Carbon's ISO-assured emissions methodology and Thrust Engage, companies can now meet every one of their sustainability, compliance and business priorities with speed and automation.”
