Talma Travel Solutions has acquired a controlling interest in US-based Solutions Travel, bolstering its presence in North America. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal was executed through Talma’s North American subsidiary, Brickell Travel, in which it took a majority stake in May 2023. That deal was sandwiched by Talma's acquisition of the UK-based Norad Travel Group in March 2022 and Blue Cube Travel in October 2024, with the Israeli company fast-tracking its expansion.
Talma said the acquisition of Solutions Travel, a leading distributor of the Spotnana platform, was part of its global expansion strategy focused on delivering “integrated digital solutions at scale for enterprise clients”.
Mark Walton, founder and CEO of Solutions Travel, will continue to lead the company under its existing brand.
“This acquisition is a direct reflection of Talma’s commitment to redefining global travel management through technology, scale and local excellence,” said Iya Magen, CEO of Talma Travel Solutions. “Mark Walton and the Solutions team bring outstanding capabilities, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth as part of Talma’s global platform.”
The company said its global revenues are projected to exceed $1 billion by the end of 2025.
In an interview with BTN Europe when Talma acquired Blue Cube, Magen said the company was squarely focused on growing its UK and US presence.
“We
are looking to create a much more significant presence from a turnover point of
view in both countries,” she said.
“We are looking to be in the top five UK TMCs within the next two years. It
is trickier in the US because it is such a fragmented market and also so big,” added Magen.
