More than 25 travel suppliers, individuals and corporate travel programmes have been named finalists in the BTN Group’s Business Travel Sustainability Awards 2025.
The third annual awards, which this year sees the merging of the European and North American streams, recognise the efforts of those in the corporate travel industry going further to reduce the environmental impact of business trips.
Entries were received from companies across Europe and North America and were assessed and scored by an independent panel of more than 40 judges, including senior corporate travel buyers, independent travel management consultants and other sustainability and ESG experts.
The finalists in the keenly-contested Managed Travel Programme of the year category include last year’s winning and highly commended entrants Arcadis and AstraZeneca, together with BDO, EY, University of California and Zurich Insurance.
Five individuals will vie for the Sustainability Champion of the Year title: April Bridgeman from BCD Travel, Martin Bierman from HRS, Donna Collins of Meetings & Incentives Worldwide, Squake’s Philipp von Lamezan, and Thrust Carbon’s Jess Clifton.
Meanwhile, American Express Global Business Travel, BCD Travel and Key Travel will compete in the Sustainability Partner of the Year - TMC category, and Air Canada, Delta Air Lines, easyJet and Lufthansa are finalists in the Sustainability Partner of the Year - Airline category.
