AirRetailer Travel Technology has launched a new corporate booking and expense platform for corporates and travel management companies.
The Dubai-based company said that the AirBooking.com platform combines “advanced artificial intelligence (AI) with powerful travel content and automated expense management”.
AI features include providing personalised options for travellers based on company policy, preferences and past behaviour, alongside a “dynamic pricing engine”, a virtual concierge, which can activated by voice or text, and automated expense management.
Kavitha Jagannathan, chief product officer at AirRetailer, said: “Our platform is built from the ground up with modern retailing principles, seamlessly blending artificial intelligence, dynamic pricing and real-time policy enforcement.
“By automating everything from booking to expense reconciliation, we empower companies to reduce travel spend by up to 15 per cent, streamline operational workflows and ensure 100 per cent compliance with corporate travel policies. It’s not just about savings - it’s about giving travel managers and employees a smarter, faster and more personalised experience.”
It has also been integrated with IATA Financial Gateway (IFG), which is the airline association’s global platform designed to optimise payment processes “irrespective of distribution networks, business models or payment methods”.
Frederic Leger, SVP of commercial products and services at IATA, added: “This integration enhances payment orchestration across the travel ecosystem.
“By combining IFG’s robust global payment infrastructure with AirBooking.com’s AI-powered travel platform, we enable a seamless payment experience that accelerates the industry's transition to modern airline retailing.”
AirBooking.com includes travel content from GDSs, NDC-based airline fares and direct connections with suppliers.
These suppliers include travel tech giants such as Sabre, which provides flight, hotel and car hire content, while Amadeus also provides airline fares.
George Rajan, chief experience officer at AirBooking.com, told BTN Europe: “We have just launched the platform and we believe it directly addresses a major pain point for most TMCs and corporates: the complexity and long timelines often associated with implementation.
“With AirBooking.com, we have reduced that to less than 48 hours, a key differentiator. The platform also allows TMCs and corporates to fully customise travel policies and approval workflows themselves, without the need for additional development or support.”
A “starter package” is priced from $100 per month, which includes “basic” flight, hotel and car hire bookings and is limited to 10 users. There is also a charge of $2 per order per passenger booked.
