Bonnie Smith
Corporate Traveller has appointed Bonnie Smith as general manager for the UK replacing Donna Joines in the role from 1 April.
Smith was previously general manager of Flight Centre’s corporate brands in South Africa, having first joined the company 21 years ago.
"The UK is a core key market for Corporate Traveller globally and presents a huge opportunity for me to be in a different country with massive growth potential," said Smith of her new role.
"With the business constantly growing market share and with SME business growth, we aim to be a top travel management company. Our focus on utilising technological advancements while keeping our people at the core of our operations is crucial to how we continue to win in this market.”
Meanwhile, Joines has taken over the role of general manager for FCM Travel’s European Service Centre.
Corporate Traveller’s global managing director Tom Walley added: "Corporate Traveller UK will be in terrific hands going forward with Bonnie at the helm - taking over the reins after the stellar work that Donna has produced in the last couple of years. It's an exciting change for our business.”
Following Smith’s move to the UK, Mummy Mafojane has been named as FCM’s South Africa general manager and Herman Heunes takes up the role of South Africa general manager for Corporate Traveller.
