Etihad Airways and EVA Air have become the latest travel firms to launch new corporate travel platforms.
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad unveiled its Etihad for Business programme at Arabian Travel Market in Dubai last week.
The dedicated platform includes a “comprehensive” travel management portal, streamlined booking process and support options, alongside features such as performance tracking, automated reporting and expense management.
Etihad said the programme offers corporate rates, priority services and “enhanced” booking flexibility to companies, with benefits that “expand with their travel volume”.
Larger corporates will also have access to features such as account management and customised travel options.
Javier Alija, vice president of global sales and distribution at Etihad, said: "This new programme demonstrates our commitment to supporting our corporate partners with solutions that meet their evolving needs.
“Our focus has been on creating a programme that delivers real value to businesses of all sizes. Whether it's a growing enterprise or an established multinational, we've designed our offerings to support their success."
Meanwhile Taiwan-based EVA Air has launched its new BizFam digital platform for corporate customers, which the airline is billing as a “new chapter in smart, efficient corporate travel”.
The online portal includes centralised travel management and digital rewards processing, with corporates able to earn loyalty points through their travellers’ flights, which can be used for free tickets, cabin upgrades and airport privileges. Employees can also earn personal loyalty points through their bookings.
The BizFam programme includes accommodation, dining, ground transport and leisure services, with a range of discounts available from suppliers in these sectors.
Clay Sun, EVA Air’s president, said: “EVA BizFam is more than a platform, it’s a partnership. We’ve built it with a deep understanding of our users’ needs to create a one-stop travel management solution for companies of all sizes worldwide.
“By offering global resources and forging cross-industry partnerships, we aim to create meaningful collaborations that generate mutual value and benefits that we pass directly back to our members.”
EVA Air said it would continue to refine the new platform based on feedback from users, with corporates now able to apply for free membership through the BizFam website.
