Marriott International has added new options to earn loyalty status for users of Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy, its new booking and travel management platform designed for small and midsize clients, the company announced on Tuesday (21 January).
Through to 14 July, new enrollees in the programme who link their Bonvoy loyalty account with Business Access automatically will qualify for Silver Elite status through December 2026. Status benefits include late checkout.
Also through to 14 July, new Business Access members can qualify for Gold Elite status by booking through the Business Access platform and staying for eight nights within three months. Qualifying travellers would hold Gold Elite status through December 2026. Only bookings made through the Business Access platform qualify for the offer, according to Marriott.
Marriott introduced Business Access in July. Built on a Spotnana technology stack, the programme offers SME clients a booking platform that includes air, rail and car rental content, as well as expense reporting capabilities and loyalty benefits. Marriott in a Tuesday statement said the programme so far has acquired "4x the number of accounts expected in the first year."
