Radisson Hotel Group is set to introduce an AI-powered phone agent to automate processes for meetings and group bookings, following an expanded agreement with Germany-based AI company hivr.ai.
The newly-inked agreement, which builds on an existing partnership between the two companies, will also see the AI agent tap into Radisson’s integration with enterprise meetings booking platform Hubli.
According to hivr.ai, Radisson will be the first adopter of its new AI voice agent, known as Mandy, which can be integrated into a hotel or venue’s CRS to handle routine inbound and outbound calls 24/7. Using natural language processing, Mandy can also capture and qualify leads, re-engage prospects and offer customer support in more than 50 languages, the company said.
The tech company is currently working on an integration across Radisson’s EMEA portfolio, however further details on the rollout were not provided at the time of publication.
Mandy will operate across “all connected channels” for meetings and events, the company confirmed, including Hubli, Cvent, Meetago and VenueDirectory.
Radisson Hotel Group global SVP commercial Gianni Di Fede said: “Expanding our partnership with hivr.ai [to include] the AI voice agent is a natural next step and a valuable addition to drive lead automation. Combined with AI for emails, it will further enhance speed and efficiency in the customer journey."
Hivr.ai CEO and co-founder, Felix Undeutsch, added: “Mandy is our latest tool to support hotels in saving time, boosting efficiency and adding a personalised touch to their meetings and group events.”
Founded in 2020, hivr.ai recently completed a funding round that included a minority investment from travel tech giant Amadeus.
