Travel management company Reed & Mackay has expanded its global sales team with a series of new appointments.
Joanna Hillman has joined the UK-based TMC as the company’s new director of European development and will oversee sales teams across Europe. Based in London, Hillman joins Reed & Mackay after a 25-year-long career at CWT, where she held various sales and business development roles.
Meanwhile, Emmie Mees has joined the company as director of global sales and will draw on her 10 years of experience with Corporate Travel Management (CTM) in her new role, which will focus on the mid-market multinational space.
Additionally, Daisy Crane has been appointed as senior manager of meetings & events, strategy and consulting. Crane brings more than 15 years’ experience in strategic meetings management to the position, having worked previously with Amex GBT and events specialist Grass Roots.
In North America, the TMC has also hired Trevor Fleming and Rob Scales, both as vice president of business development. Based in Nebraska, Fleming comes to Reed & Mackay from the travel technology space, most recently having served as an account director with Travelport. He will focus on sales across the Midwest and West Coast.
Scales, meanwhile, will focus on Reed & Mackay’s “core” legal sector. Based in New York, he brings with him nearly two decades of experience in corporate travel and meetings, including tenures at CTM, FCM Meetings & Events and Avis Budget Group.
The TMC, which is owned by Navan, said the appointments will drive the company’s global growth efforts. It has rapidly expanded its European footprint in recent years, largely through acquisitions, and now has offices in Spain, France, Sweden, Germany and Italy.
