Shelley Mathews
UK-based TMC Take2Eton Group has recruited Shelley Mathews to the newly created role of chief commercial officer.
Mathews, who was most recently EVP of sales at CTM, will report to Take2Eton’s new CEO James Parkhouse, who joined the company in October 2024.
In her new role, Mathews will be responsible for the TMC’s overall sales and marketing strategy, including the overseeing of the current sales, marketing and bid-writing teams.
“She brings an extensive background in sales and marketing strategy and has a clear understanding of the importance of balancing commercial, interpersonal and strategic efforts to consistently deliver exceptional results,” said Parkhouse of Mathews’ appointment.
“This will be hugely beneficial to Take2Eton, as we focus on driving growth and elevating our position in the market in 2025 and beyond.”
As well as nine years with CTM, Mathews also spent six years as head of UK sales at ATPI during her 20-year career in corporate travel.
Mathews said she would “focus on shaping our go-to-market strategy, integrating sales, marketing and commercial partnerships” in her new role at Take2Eton.
