Travel technology add-on Tripkicks has partnered with AI platform SeatCash to provide corporate travellers guidance at the point of booking on timing their dates of purchase and travel to maximise savings, the company announced.
By tapping SeatCash's FareX platform, Tripkicks is offering "Airfare Intelligence," which can provide messaging to travellers using corporate booking tools to "book now" when the airfares on their selected routes are expected to rise and to "wait to book" when fares are expected to decrease.
In addition, Tripkicks can provide notifications if flying on a different day would provide savings, should travellers' plans be flexible.
"Airfare Intelligence is a natural extension of our platform and one that helps tackle a common goal across our clients – cost savings and avoidance," Tripkicks CEO Jeff Berk said in a statement.
SeatCash's FareX claims to house a growing 130 billion records and 5 trillion data points to inform its algorithms and predictive analytics on airfares.
Airfare Intelligence is Tripkicks' second Partner Connection offering to launch in recent months, following last month's Carbon Footprints tool developed with BCD Travel's Advito consultancy.
