British Airways has reopened its lounge at Seattle Tacoma International Airport following an “extensive” refurbishment.
The refreshed lounge features a new food servery area, a full-service bar and “work-friendly” pods. There’s also a dedicated space for à la carte dining reserved for first class travellers.
The carrier’s Seattle lounge joins those in Singapore, Washington, Lagos, Edinburgh, London Gatwick and London Heathrow, all of which have recently been refurbished.
Following recently announced changes to its Executive Club loyalty programme, the carrier will also debut a new lounge concept in Dubai and Miami later this year. Part of the carrier’s £7 billion transformation plan, the new lounge in Dubai will include “a significantly elevated” food offering, showers and a full-service bar.
Lounge refreshes in Boston and Glasgow are also slated to commence later this year, followed by a “full redevelopment” of the carrier's Heathrow lounges in 2026.
British Airways’ chief customer officer Calum Laming said: “Across our global network we have 28 lounges in 20 airports that all play a huge part in our customers’ journeys, so we’re committed to offering the very best experience.”
