Norse Atlantic has announced plans for a new long-haul route between Athens and Los Angeles this summer.
The budget long-haul carrier will operate the service four times per week from 3 June, using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Norse Atlantic already offers routes to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from London Gatwick, Paris and Rome as part of its transatlantic network.
Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder of Norse Atlantic, said: "We’re thrilled to be launching a new route between Los Angeles and Athens this year. We expect the uptake to be positive as we offer this budget-friendly route, opening up more transatlantic options for our customers.
“Our goal is to make travel accessible and affordable for everyone and this is another step in that mission and in our commitment to offer new destinations.”
